What was actually said
On the 13 Oct 2026 Show HN thread, several commenters described Wonderhop as a Krillion reskin and at least one linked a .org host by mistake. Another commenter pointed back to krillion.io and reported a hostile page on the .org host. The developer replied that crowd-answer games predate Krillion, that Past and Future are original, and that code was heavily machine-assisted while the art and design were done by hand. I am leaving that as a record of the argument. I am not scoring who is right. Player counts for either game are not public, so I will not rank popularity.
Abyss and Rarest Answer
Both are daily rare-answer games. Wonderhop wraps Abyss in three other directions and gives 40 seconds. Rarest Answer is rare-answer only, 25 seconds, scores with gem tiers, and resets at 00:00 UTC. Wonderhop's .io reset is midnight Eastern Time. I have no shared metric for which is harder. The Abyss rules are on modes, and the wider list is on games like Wonderhop.

Questions people ask
Are Wonderhop and Krillion the same game?
No. They are separate sites with different daily shapes. Players on Show HN called Wonderhop a reskin. The Wonderhop developer said the idea is older than Krillion and that Past and Future are their own.
Which one is free of ads?
Wonderhop's press sheet says the free rounds have no ads. Krillion's pages say the daily game has ads and a purchase removes them.
How does Rarest Answer fit?
Rarest Answer is rare-answer only, 7 questions, 25 seconds, gem ranks, reset at 00:00 UTC. Wonderhop's Abyss round is 7 questions at 40 seconds inside a four-round day.
