How Wonderhop scoring works

Last verified: 2026-10-30

One question is worth at most 100 points. One round is out of 700. A full day is out of 2,800. Those three numbers are on the official how-to-play page. A player-shared card for day 10 reads 1,170/2,800, split 250, 340, 380, and 200. I checked the addition: it matches.

What a point means in each direction

On Show HN, one player reported 260 out of 700 in Sky, with two Perfect answers (peanuts, and Michael Jackson). I cite that as a player report from 13 Oct 2026, not as an official sample.

The board

The press sheet says you can enter a nickname for a daily leaderboard without an account. The developer added that the board shows how many people played each direction that day. Because there is no public leaderboard page, I describe it as in the game only. Hop Pass is a separate purchase and does not change the 2,800 cap. Price details are on Hop Pass.

If you came looking for today's answers, the points above are the public substitute. The answers page explains why no list exists.

Questions people ask

What is a perfect score in one day?

2,800 points: 100 on every question across four rounds of seven. The how-to-play FAQ states 700 a game and 2,800 a day.

Where is the leaderboard?

Inside the game, after you enter a nickname. A separate /leaderboard address on the official site returned not found when I requested it on 30 Oct 2026. I am not linking a dead address.

Does Sky score equal the percentage?

A directory page says the score is the share of players who gave that answer. The official Sky page shows the share and does not state a formula. I write that points track the share.

Sources

Official game pages, the press sheet, the manifest, itch.io and developer comments count as one publisher. Numbers supported only by that publisher remain single-source claims. Player posts and third-party articles are independent evidence only for what they actually show. Source policy.
